Receiving faxes
To receive a fax you need a fax number - a phone number connected to a fax line. Your iPhone doesn't have one, but you can get one in minutes.

How receiving works
Someone dials your fax number, their machine sends the pages, and they arrive as a PDF. With HonestFax the number is a US or Canadian number of your own, and each fax lands in the app's Inbox with a notification. The full walkthrough is in how to receive a fax on iPhone.
Need it once, or every week?
- Once: the 7-Day Pass gives you a personal US or Canadian fax number for 7 days, for $9.99, and it never renews. Good for one form you're waiting on.
- Regularly: HonestFax Pro keeps the number for as long as you're subscribed ($12.99 a month or $79.99 a year).
Prices as shown in the app on the day of writing; the app always shows the current price before you buy.
Getting the fax to actually arrive
Give the sender the number with the country code, ask them to send a test page if the document is important, and check the page count when it lands. If a sender says their fax didn't go through, why a fax fails explains what the error usually means.
